Amanda Reifer – Woman Now | A COLORS SHOW
Bajan artist Amanda Reifer first captured listeners’ hearts as the front woman of the band Cover Drive. Then, in 2018, she struck out on her own, kickstarting her solo career with the sparkling debut single ‘Girl Like Me’. After releasing a string of singles including ‘Ranson’ and ‘Rich Bitch Juice’, Reifer landed a writing session with Kendrick Lamar in 2022. That resulted in the song ‘Die Hard’, a highlight from his latest album ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’, and saw Reifer nominated for two GRAMMYs for Album of the Year and Best Melodic Rap. Through 2024, Reifer has been rolling out the ‘The Refier Files’, an audio-visual experience amplifying her artistic vision on songs like ‘In and Out (Interlude)’, ‘Devastating…’, and ‘Colonize’.
For her debut A COLORS SHOW, Reifer shares a defiant performance of ‘Woman Now’, a new single that will feature on her forthcoming debut project. Against a soundtrack of twinkling keys and rich syncopated drums, Reifer lays down irresistibly smooth vocals that express her feelings about an unreciprocated relationship. Watch the full performance on the site and keep an eye out for Reifer’s long-awaited debut studio album which is set to drop later this year.
