Premiere: Havelock – Pheromones

Kent born, London based artist Havelock serves up another slice of refreshing indie pop packed with groove in the form of ‘Pheromones’, which is produced by Luke Fitton. The follow up to previously released single ‘Real’, ‘Pheromones’ is a melting pot of influences, seamlessly combining elements of hip-hop, indie pop and electronics and wrapping them up into a unique sound. Premiering here at COLORS, ‘Pheromones’ sees Havelock shift from intimate and subdued in the verses before bursting into the vibrant and groovy atmospherics of that infectious hook.

BRAND JUNO – PLANET EARTH

Ireland based artist BRAND JUNO shares the funk filled ‘PLANET EARTH’, the second single taken from his forthcoming project titled ‘SQUARE UNO’. Serving as the follow up to lead single ‘MANGO HUE’ which features contributions from Ciscero and Alex Szotak, the track is soundtracked by killer guitar lines and slick electronics that provide the perfect backdrop for JUNO’s slick vocals.

O Mer – Repack the Junk

Brooklyn/Tel Aviv based producer, guitarist, and composer O Mer serves up ‘Repack The Junk’, a groovy gem taken from his forthcoming EP of the same name. Citing the likes of Damon Albarn, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell and Fairuz and Mohammed Abdel Wahab as influences, O Mer crafts a spectacular guitar-driven haven on ‘Repack the Junk’ which boasts an ever so infectious hook. Everything from the emphatic guitars, the pounding bass and O Mer’s angsty vocal delivery gels wonderfully – it’s an absolute blast!

Lucifour M – Dog

Italian quartet Lucifour M introduce themselves in thunderous fashion with the release of debut single ‘Dog’. Simon On The Moon – Sleeping With You

Swedish based artist and producer Simon On The Moon shares the latest single from his forthcoming ‘Milk’ EP in the form of ‘Sleeping With You’. The dazzling single serves as the follow up to previously released offerings ‘Lied 2 U’, ‘Stromboli’ and the titular ‘Milk’. Sparkling guitar riffs are accompanied by Simon’s delectably smooth, falsetto-laden tones to create a refreshingly vibrant and groove-inflected atmosphere.

Jai Paul – Do You Love Her Now / He

After seven years, London based singer, songwriter and producer Jai Paul breaks his silence with the release of double B-side singles ‘Do You Love Her Now’ and ‘He’ along with a brand new website. On the former, Paul is joined by Paul Institute artist Fabiana Palladino, whose sparkling voice wonderfully compliments Paul’s endearing tones to float over the soothing and sombre atmospherics. The latter, is a triumphant slice of summery groove-inflected pop that packs a punch as Paul’s falsetto-laden, MJ-esque vocals glide through.

Sports Boyfriend – Crying in July

Chicago based artist Eileen Peltier aka Sports Boyfriend delivers a sparkling and dreamy new single in the form of ‘Crying in July’. Serving as the follow up to previously released ‘Fear of God’, this new offering encompasses a groove-inflected, lo-fi aesthetic that sees Peltier’s silky smooth vocals shine from start to finish. Tame Impala – Borderline

Amber Mark – Mixer

Ever since she introduced herself with the mesmerising ‘S P A C E’ a few years ago, New York based singer, songwriter and producer Amber Mark has continually blurred genres from around the globe to create a sound that’s entirely her own. Her two stunning EPs ‘3:33AM’ and ‘Conexão’ wonderfully embody Mark’s refreshing sounds and latest cut ‘Mixer’ continues that very trend. Glorious guitars and a sharp drumbeat are accompanied by twinkling piano chords to give Mark the platform to lay down her silky smooth vocals.

Elephant Gym – Moonset (ft. YeYe)

Meet Elephant Gym, a Taiwanese band who create bass-driven, math-rock that’s packed with groove and grit. Following up from their slew of singles over the past year or so, the three piece band, comprised of Tif on bass, Tell on guitar and Chia-Chin on drums have shared ‘Moonset’, a collaboration with YeYe. Yeo – Restless
