Liss – Second

June 20

Having marked their return with the glorious ‘Talk to Me’ earlier this year, Danish quartet Liss have released their long awaited ‘Second’ EP. Featuring the previously released single ‘Reputation’, the self-released project is another blissful affair with the band’s exceptionally slick productions hitting the spot and lead singer Søren Holm’s endearing tones stealing the show on each track. The EP captures what it’s like to be a young adult – exploring topics of sexuality, identity, relationships, self-reflection and more.

Soon – With You

June 5

Dive into the icy instrumentation that soundtracks ‘With You’, the delectable debut single from new Danish duo Soon. Comprised of August and Andreas, the pair who cite the likes of Kelela, The Weeknd and The Internet as influences, intertwine breezy atmospherics with equally cool and relaxing vocals. ‘With You’ serves as a wonderful introduction to the duo’s sound, setting the scene wonderfully for what’s to come.

Erika de Casier – Essentials

May 21

Following the release of singles ‘Do My Thing’ and ‘Good Time’ earlier this year, Danish singer, songwriter and producer Erika de Casier has dropped ‘Essentials’, her sensational debut album. With contributions from the likes of El Trick and DJ Sports, the twelve-track project takes on a more personal sound that boasts an amalgamation of influences from vintage and soulful R&B throwbacks  akin to that of the 90’s to bossa nova. The aptly titled record is one of those rare moments where each track is essential in binding the body of work together; it’s an absolute must listen.

ML Buch – I Feel Like Giving You Things

ML Buch is the moniker of Copenhagen-based composer and producer Marie Louise Buch, whose single ‘I Feel Like Giving You Things’, is quite frankly and experience to behold. Over the course of the track’s three-minute lifespan, ML Buch propels your mind into a trance-like state with her soothing tones piercing the soundscape as each line paints a wonderful image in your head. There’s beauty in simplicity, and ‘I Feel Like Giving You Things’ is the embodiment of just that.
