Hi Jolagreen23, it’s great to have you back on COLORS! How has life been since we last met?
Life’s been moving fast! Since my COLORS performance, I’ve been focused on my tour, pushing out new music, and connecting even deeper with my audience. It’s been a crazy but exciting journey. I love y’all.
It’s been a few months since your debut performance of ‘360TrickShot’ on A COLORS SHOW took off online. What impact has performing on the show had on you as an artist?
Performing on COLORS was a big moment for me. The response was overwhelming—so many new people discovered my music through that performance. It gave me a boost, both in terms of confidence and exposure. Now, every time I perform, I feel like I need to bring that same energy and precision.
You’ve recently kicked off your tour, showcasing tracks from your 2024 project, ‘+99XP.’ How are you handling the excitement of headlining across France?
It’s been surreal. Seeing people from different cities turn up who know the lyrics is crazy. I’ve been putting in the work to deliver the best possible shows for my audience, I’m making sure the energy stays high. It’s a lot, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
According to your Twitter, the countdown is already on for another new project from you, titled ‘GOTY’. What can you tell us about this album?
‘GOTY’ is a statement. It’s a level up in every way—from production to the lyrics and storytelling. It’s a project that reflects where I’m at right now: more focused, more intentional, and ready to claim my spot.
What does ‘GOTY’ stand for? What’s the meaning behind the album artwork?
‘GOTY’ stands for Game of The Year. It’s a double meaning—on one side, it’s a reference to gaming culture, where the best and most impactful game gets that title. On the other, it’s about my own journey. Every move I make, every project I drop, I treat it like it has to be the best of the year. No half-measures.
The album artwork is a powerful image—it’s a photo of me bruised and beaten after a case of police brutality. It’s raw, it’s real, and it represents a bigger message. The album is about resilience, the realities many of us face, and about turning pain into strength.
