Jamaican-American singer, songwriter and musician YG Marley carries forward the legendary Marley legacy while forging his own path. The son of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, YG blends reggae, hip-hop, and R&B, infusing his music with socially conscious themes and a deep connection to his roots. His debut single ‘Praise Jah in the Moonlight’, which dropped in 2023, showcases his signature sound—soulful, groove-driven, and steeped in the spirit of classic reggae while feeling distinctly modern. With a natural charisma and a voice that channels both his lineage and his individuality, YG Marley has since impressed with singles including ‘Survival’, ‘Awuke’ and most recently ‘Treasure & Rhymes’ (a collaboration with Busta Rhymes).
