Since releasing his debut studio album, ‘My Krazy Life’, almost a decade ago, Compton, California native YG (short for Young Gangster) has consistently delivered high-quality tracks such as ‘Still Brazy’, ‘Stay Dangerous’, and ‘4Real 4Real’. In 2020, the rapper dropped ‘My Life 4Hunnid’, his fifth studio album which featured collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Tyga, and COLORS alums Gunna and Ty Dolla $ign. Most recently, YG released the J. Cole and Moneybagg Yo-assisted track ‘Scared Money’, the first single to be lifted from his forthcoming sixth studio album.
For his debut A COLORS SHOW, YG brings the energy with a stellar performance of ‘Toxic’. Boasting a slick trap-beat, pounding bass, and subtle keys, the breezy single acts as the perfect backdrop against which the West Coast rapper showcases his powerful yet raspy voice.
