If you haven’t been acquainted with Nigeria-born, South London-based artist Shaybo (aka Shayon Brown) and her magnetic sounds, you’re in for an absolute treat. Having released singles like ‘Bonjour Cava’ (featuring Miss Lafamilia) and ‘Ya Dun Know’ in 2019, the rising rapper has gone on to showcase her versatility as an MC and writer with a slew of singles over the past year. From ‘Anger’ and ‘Dobale’ to more recent offerings ‘Streets’ and ‘Broke Boyz’ (featuring DreamDoll), Shaybo’s hard-hitting, zealous lyrics and infectious melodies have been second to none.
