Boston-based Swedish-Eritrean artist Sebastian Mikael got his first taste of musical success when his single ‘Beautiful Life’ went viral in 2012. Riding the wave, he released his Wale-assisted follow up hit, ‘Last Night’, the following year. After taking some time off to refocus, Mikeal released two new projects, ‘ I C U U C ME PT I’ and ‘I C U U C ME PT II’, in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Over the past few years, the artist’s contemporary sound has shifted and changed: his stylistic evolution can be charted across his singles ‘Exit’, ‘Lucky Me’, ‘Good Mornin’’, and, most recently, ‘Overgold’.
