COLORS showcases exceptional talent from all around the globe, focused on the most distinctive new artists and original sounds.

Prettyboy D-O

Donald Ofik Le Omuora aka Prettyboy D-O is one of the most exciting breakthrough artists to come out of Nigeria over the past few years. The New Jersey-born vocalist and songwriter has been at the forefront of the growing alté movement in Nigeria with releases such as ‘Chop Elbow’ and ‘Itty Bitty’ serving as early highlights. In 2018, Prettyboy D-O shared his impressive debut project in the form of ‘Everything Pretty’ and this past year, the rising artist dropped ‘Wildefire’, his most compelling and rounded offering to date.

Prettyboy D-O – Dey Go Hear Wehh

Following up his powerful rendition of ‘Jungle Justice’ as part of his A COLORS SHOW last year, Prettyboy D-O returns for an equally compelling and captivating ENCORE performance. Born in Lisbon, the Nigerian artist recently impressed with his versatile songwriting and vibrant soundscapes on ‘Wildfire’, an eight-track project which features contributions from the likes of Tim Lyre, WANI, Solana and Olamide.

Today, Prettyboy D-O brings ‘Wildfire’ to COLORS with a fiery ENCORE performance of closing single ‘Dey Go Hear Wehh’. A (self-described) certified banger from the get go, Prettyboy D-O works his magic with an infectious flow over a scintillating beat produced by Higo & HVRRY. Watch the Nigerian star bring the heat on ‘Dey Go Hear Wehh’ up top and be sure to give ‘Wildfire’ a spin if you haven’t already done so.
