Jordan Edwards-Wilks aka Jords graced the COLORS stage earlier this year with a superb rendition of ‘Rice and P’s’. The track served as his first offering since last year’s brilliant ‘Almost An Adult’ album which features standout cuts like ‘Halos’ and ‘Rose Tinted Glasses’ and contributions from the likes of Dotty, Thea Gajic, Jaz Karis and Kida Kudz. Throughout the record’s ten tracks, Jords expresses his experiences with an eloquence and wit that resonates from start to finish.

That’s exactly the case with his A COLORS ENCORE performance in which the Croydon artist delivers a spectacular medley of songs from ‘Almost An Adult’ as well as a taste of brand new single ‘Enemies’ which features fellow COLORS alumni Masego and Kadiata. Accompanied by a band comprising a drummer and saxophonist, Jords effortlessly works his way through ‘Halos’ and ‘Rose Tinted Glasses’ with his seamless delivery as his tones glide across the rich instrumentation with ease. Jords is the musical project of singer, songwriter and rapper Jordan Edwards-Wilks who first impressed in 2016 with the release of debut mixtape ‘Means To An Ends’. Since then, the Croydon-based artist has gone onto drop a number of equally exciting projects which include EPs ‘Before We Begin’ and ‘After The End’. Last year, Jords dropped ‘Almost An Adult’, his sensational debut full length album which serves as a coming-of-age story where Jords lays it all out with his clever, honest penmanship and versatile delivery.
