COLORS showcases exceptional talent from all around the globe, focused on the most distinctive new artists and original sounds.

Febueder

Alternative outfit Febueder (pronounced Fe-byou-der) have been sharing their eclectic and unique slices of indie-folk-pop since 2013. Comprising vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Kieran Godfrey and percussionist Samuel Keysell, the band have just released their long-awaited debut album earlier this year titled ‘Tomalin, Has Etched In’. On the record, the pair craft spellbinding atmospheres and paint vivid narratives on standout singles like ‘When You Speak To Mingus’, ‘Whirlpool’ and ‘Overthrown’.

Febueder – Morning Yawn

What keeps Ascot-based alt-pop duo Febueder such an intriguing and captivating band is the fact that they’re unafraid to switch things up with each release. From their very first EP’s to their recent debut album ‘Tomalin, Has Etched In’, the pair have continued to evolve and expand their artistry whilst maintaining that signature Febueder flavour in their songwriting and instrumentation. Earlier this week, the band presented a spectacular rendition of ‘Réseau’ where they showcased a more gentle and delicate side to their work.

As part of their COLORS ENCORE performance, the band take us back to 2017 and deliver an equally enchanting version of ‘Morning Yawn’ which is lifted from their EP ‘From An Album’. Together, lead vocalist Kieran Godfrey and percussionist Samuel Keysel showcase the grittier and spirited side to their music as the track encompasses a subtle but present groove. Dive into ‘Morning Yawn’ above and don’t forget to watch the band’s main show if you haven’t already done so.

Febueder – Réseau

Their sound and sentiment is wonderfully captured on ‘Réseau’, a sparkling and utterly enchanting cut which appears towards the end of the record. It’s also the single that the pair present as part of their COLORS show. On ‘Réseau’ (which translates to “network” in French), Godfrey and Keysell highlight the importance and urgency of climate change: “Just when I grow so wasteful… I can’t say I’m ungrateful”. Watch the gorgeous performance of ‘Réseau’ above and be sure to give ‘Tomalin, Has Etched In’ a spin too.
