Erick the Architect is the solo project of Brooklyn-based producer and rapper Erick Elliot, who also serves as one third of hip-hop trio Flatbush Zombies. Earlier this year, Erick the Architect released ‘Future Proof’, his debut solo project which features contributions from fellow COLORS alums Col3trane, Pip Millett, and Loyle Carner along with FARR, Sophie Faith, and Linden Jay. Written entirely by the artist and produced by musical duo FARR’s Linden Jay, in ‘Future Proof’ Erick the Architect reflects on systemic injustice and racism on tracks including ‘WTF’ and ‘Selfish’. On ‘Let It Go’, he also explores the feelings of guilt and self-doubt that come with pursuing your dreams.
