Nigerian artist BNXN (pronounced Benson) first burst onto the international music scene as ‘Buju’ in 2018, initially releasing singles such as ‘Catch a Vibe’, ‘A Day in Lagos’, ‘Wahala’ and ‘Energy’. Since then, the singer-songwriter has since gone on to create a series of standalone hits, including ‘Spiritual’ (ft. Zlatan), ‘L’enu’ and ‘Outside’. In 2021, BNXN (real name Daniel Benson) shared ‘Sorry I’m Late’, a project featuring highlights like ‘Kilometer’ and ‘Something sweet’.

Lifted from his upcoming new project, ‘Bad Since ’97’, the track’s laidback instrumentation features a slick beat and subtle jazz influences alongside the artist’s soothing tones.
