West London native Bawo dropped his debut single, ‘Give Me A Sec’, in 2019. Since then, the acclaimed wordsmith and MC has continually impressed listeners with releases including ‘No Sleep’,’Chandler Bing’, and ‘Starts With a Text’, the last of which featured on his 2021 debut EP ‘Live & Let Thrive’. Then, after takin his time to explore various sounds from afrobeats to garage, Bawo dropped ‘Legitimate Cause’ in 2023, his highly anticipated debut full-length project that showcased his imaginative flows and thoughtfully-constructed lyrics.
