COLORS showcases exceptional talent from all around the globe, focused on the most distinctive new artists and original sounds.

Babyface Ray

In the decade since he dropped his debut mixtape ‘MIA Season’, Babyface Ray has evolved beyond Detroit’s “reality rap” roots, and established himself as a formidable force within the global scene. Following a string of equally unfiltered mixtapes like ‘Legend’ (2017) and  ‘The Last One Left’ (2019), the Detroit native impressed with two stellar albums in 2022 with ‘Face’ and ‘Mob’. Ray’s authentic pen and versatile flow expand further on 2023’s ‘Summer’s Mine’ as well as his latest album ‘The Kid That Did’, which includes hard-hitting cuts like ‘Rubberband Man’ and reflective moments like ‘Guardian Angel’.
