New York City based artist ernest rareberrg shares the stunning visual to latest single ‘Secondary Handstand’ which is directed by Noah Weisfogel. The accompanying clip wonderfully mirrors the track’s moody and nostalgic aesthetic as rareberrg is pictured maintaining direct eye contact throughout, creating an eerie yet intimate atmosphere. Singer, songwriter and producer Rahm Silverglade aka RⱯHM ⚉ kicks off the new year with magical new offering ‘semiautomatical’. DC based rapper NAPPYNAPPA rounds out his incredibly busy year with the visual accompaniment of superb single ‘GIVETH AND TAKETH AT WHAT COST’. Dominican/Mexican-American singer Ambar Lucid rounds off the year with the release of serene, beautiful new single ‘Lolita’. The New Jersey-based artist’s single follows this past autumn’s ‘Head Down’ and serves as the latest offering since her album ‘Garden of Lucid’ dropped this Spring. Accompanied by a gorgeous visual shot at sunset and directed by TheVideoBoy, ‘Lolita’ is a stunning ode to Ambar’s mother as she delivers her affecting words in both English and Spanish. Compton-born, California-based artist Channel Tres (aka Sheldon Young) closes out the year with the release of his impeccable new tape ‘i can’t go outside’. Created during this year’s lockdown, the seven-track project features contributions from Tyler, the Creator (on ‘fuego’) and Tinashe (on ‘take your time’) and showcases Young’s retrospective on the events of the past twelve months over groove-inflected beats. Rising Nigerian-American singer/songwriter Serena Isioma (pronounced “e-seeohma”) shares their terrific new EP ‘The Leo Sun Sets’. Featuring previous gems like ‘Blue Sky’, the gritty yet ethereal ‘King’ and powerful cut ‘Stop Calling The Police On Me’, the project brilliantly illustrates Isioma’s versatility as a vocalist, songwriter and musician. Each song on the EP is wrapped up in a range of sounds that take elements from many influences, but what makes ‘The Leo Sun Sets’ is the way in which the tracks are expertly threaded together by Isioma’s superb storytelling. Haitian-American artist HANZ follows up his ‘PRAYLUDE’ EP from earlier this year with his debut full-length mixtape ‘VAGABOND’.
