UCHE YARA – ZUU (zoo) | A COLORS SHOW
Austria-born, Berlin-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter UCHE YARA started out her career touring European festivals and stages alongside her favorite band Bilderbuch, and even opened for the Rolling Stones when they performed in Vienna. Yet it wasn’t until September 2023 that she released her debut single, ‘www she hot’. Since then, UCHE YARA has become known for her unique vocal experimentations as well as her seamless blend of genres including punk rock, psychedelia and R&B. Her distinctive style is evident on her tracks ‘Sophie’, ‘Panama’, ‘yesterday I was in London’, ‘homesick’, and ‘SASHA (wake up!)’, the last of which will feature on her forthcoming debut EP ‘GOLDEN DAYS’.
For COLORS, UCHE YARA shares a vibrant performance of ‘ZUU (zoo)’, a previously unheard song that will also feature on ‘GOLDEN DAYS’. Against an energetic soundtrack of stark guitars, off-kilter drums, and charming backing harmonies, UCHE YARA embodies the character of a zookeeper, painting a vivid picture of what it’s like to work at a wildlife park through imaginative lyrics and unique vocal effects.
